Babcock Ranch is home to a variety of enterprises. Set on the massive 90,000+ acre Crescent B Ranch located in both Lee and Charlotte counties, the ranch offers visitors exactly what the name implies . . . an adventure in a vast Florida wilderness setting. If you wish to experience the thrill of meeting panthers, Florida cracker cattle, native birds and dozens of wild alligators face to face, then the Babcock Wilderness Adventures tour is a must see natural attraction. Perhaps you'll catch a glimpse of a white tailed deer or some of the many wild turkeys along the tour route; maybe you'll see an American Eagle or Red Shouldered Hawk. Specially built swamp buggies carry you through four distinctly different ecosystems. Through unspoiled piney flatlands, oak hammocks, a fresh water marsh and sections of the Telegraph Cypress Swamp, visitors get to see a side of Florida that is vanishing rapidly.
